I don’t really care if it is illegal or not to invade peoples privacy. If Americans are willing to sacrifice their privacy and freedom for comfort, safety and security as a whole there is not much I can do about that. I can say is that Americans have already lost the battles and the terrorists have already won the war! “Live free or Die.”BlogCruisernoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8496035.post-1126831881786720482005-09-15T17:50:00.000-07:002005-09-15T17:51:21.790-07:00Share the Wealth - A Must ReadShare the Wealth - A Must ReadBlogCruisernoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8496035.post-1118054023708779522005-06-06T03:32:00.000-07:002005-06-06T03:33:43.716-07:00MediaFor those of you who missed Ralph Nader on CSPAN's
Washington Journal on Sunday June 5, at 10am est, you
can watch the hour long interview with callers'
questions archived on CSPAN's website.

Check CSPAN 1, 2, and 3's listings for Washington
Journal's replay on your local cable affililiate.BlogCruisernoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8496035.post-1117079018801212562005-05-25T20:42:00.000-07:002005-05-25T20:43:38.813-07:00Hear Ralph NaderCome Hear Ralph Nader and Patti Smith This Saturday

/Ralph Nader, Princeton Class of '55, Speaks out about The Future of
American Politics, The War, and the New Century's Populist Revolts/

And

/A musical performance by Patti Smith and Lenny Kaye adjacent to the
Princeton Campus
Plus Chris Hedges and Carl Mayer '81/

*Details:*
Saturday May 28, 11:00 a.m.
Nassau Presbyterian Church
61 Nassau St.
Princeton, NJ 08542-4502

*Tickets:*
$10 advance
$15 at door

For information, to purchase advance tickets, and to reserve a table for
your organization to display materials call 732-673-9583. He needs support though!

I hope the next Presidential campaign that he goes for broke to actually win the presidency.

Well I haven't posted much and just needed a break from this one for a bit. I will continue to follow what's going on with Mr. Ralph Nader in this blog though.

So it's everyone's last chance to get over there and get some of the assortment of campaign items. It's also my guess if you want to save any of the news releases and downloads available there it would also be a good idea to visit and get those. Have a happy holiday season out here!

It is an interesting letter below that I found at the votenader.com site and the link is also provided:

Will the Real Michael Moore Ever Re-emerge?
December 8, 2004

Dear Michael,

Will the real Michael Moore ever re-emerge and shut the door on his theatre of the absurd? It was a wild and crazy run, was it not, Michael? Weeks of standing before large college audiences mixing a potion of book and movie promotions with a message that was more laughable than producing laughter. You told the young men and women that “George W. Bush and John Kerry both suck. Vote for Kerry.” That is supposed to be “cool?” Here you were -- against the Iraq War occupation, pro-justice for the Palestinian people, against the Patriot Act, against the swollen military budget and you were telling the university students to vote for Kerry who is on the complete opposite side of these issues.

Now that you no longer have to pose as a “least-worster”, with no more tactical excuses, what is your post-election confession? So far your website has dodged this question, unless that is you have no reflections on the merit of abandoning both your principles and your authentically progressive friends for candidates – - Kerry and Edwards—who so often performed as crypto-Republicans during the campaign.

They were unable to stand for much of anything – - not standing against the war or for an anti-poverty agenda, for corporate reform, for consumer justice, or for cracking down on the epidemic of corporate crime, fraud and abuse. They could not even stand up for the simple right of wrongfully injured and defrauded Americans to have their full day in court without tort deform handcuffing judges and juries by the Bushistas. Ah, remember your strong stands in 2000 on these and other such matters? Some excerpts are on our website votendader.org for your recollection. You had more moxy before the Academy Awards in 2003 than you had on your campaign trail this year.

Michael, you have to rehabilitate yourself and remove the stains of your political apostasy. Get off your self-demeaning “Bill Maher Show knees” and once again confront the forces of corporate power and domination. Jettison your image as the Court Jester for the Democratic Party and its serial, crude violations of other candidates’ civil liberties to be on the ballot, to express their freedom of speech regarding a just society and world inside the electoral arena without being subjected to dirty tricks, hired corporate law firms, phony lawsuits, harassment and intimidation of signature gatherers.

Redeem yourself or forever be consigned to history’s judgment of political turncoats, renegades and saboteurs.

You can start this redemption by contributing toward the expenses of those disillusioned young people on our campaign, who wondered throughout this year what was happening to their cinematic Captain Courageous, and urging your wondering email list to visit our website and do likewise.

Merry Christmas and a stand-up New Year!

Sincerely,Ralph Nader
BlogCruisernoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8496035.post-1101408476225478252004-11-25T10:20:00.000-08:002004-11-25T10:47:56.226-08:002008 Just Around the CornerIf Mr. Ralph Nader runs again in 2008, I will be supporting him at this point. I figure why not get a head start now. There were some good candidates out there during this 2004 election but my bet was with Nader/Camejo 2004. Why would I vote for a candidate that is almost definitely going to lose, you might ask? This is very simple for me to answer. He seemed like the most honest candidate. His campaign stood their ground closer to my beliefs on many of the issues then any of the other candidates available! It was a simple choice for me during this election because of that. I voted for Nader/Camejo this election and like I stated if they run in 2008 I will most likely do the same again. I was happy with that vote when I made it and I’m happy with it now.

I figure it’s time to get a head start now and start the planning and actions needed for a new America. All of those that compromised to try and make a change, I commend you on your commitments to make change and your actions to do the same. However, I think it’s time in America for a successful and true grass-roots movement to evolve and win the next election. It’s time in my opinion for the people to take their own government back and have the policies reflecting the people’s opinions, hopes and dreams.

I urge anyone that is concerned to start doing research now, to find out what is going on and plan ahead for the next election. I’m not just talking 2008 but look in your local community and start voting out the bureaucrats that are not supporting the people and vote in real grass-roots candidates that want change and reflect your beliefs, each and every election. There are many of these candidates that are honest, hard-working and true out there. A lot of them don’t have the money to compete with corporate powers and it is up to us to search out these candidates that need our support to make good and great changes.

Start building every day and now the foundations that will make this an even greater country in the future!

Here is another post or ramble that is non specific to this blog theme. I will do this now and then.

I’ve been trying BlogExplosion with some pretty good success. It is setup with many of the same features as many other traffic exchange programs utilize. There is a 2:1 ratio where you visit two sites and get one site visit in return. You can add unlimited blogs and there seems to be a pretty good ratio where you earn extra credits for just surfing, which improves upon the 2:1 ratio.

There are other ways to improve your ratio of hits to your own blog. You can bid on being a directory sponsor and have your link listed as a sponsor in the directory sections you choose this way with some of your credits. You can also get referrals, which can go down several levels, and definitely brings your ratio of hits up again. The referral setup works well if you signup active user referrals. There seems to be a good amount of blogs and bloggers, yet only a couple thousand so far which tells me that there is plenty of room for growth in the referral section. There are lotteries you can enter with credits to win even more hits to your blog.

The best of all is you actually get traffic back to your site right away for searching through other blogs. I highly suggest you give it a try at B.E. or at least give it a shot. The community that is growing there seems very interesting and fun with some great blogs to look at! You may want to polish up your blog and post some interesting items that you want others to see and see for your self after you do some blog surfing at BlogExplosion what type of response you get! What does it hurt to give it a try, you may have some pleasant surprises.

I’ve found BlogExplosion to be a lot better then many web page traffic exchange systems and I have tried hundreds of them in the past. The blogging community just seems more active then many of the web pages of today. Why I couldn’t give that answer at all. However, this blog exchange definitely let’s you check out a wide variety of interesting blogs to visit!

I’m trying or have used a couple other systems below with some success. Some of them have similar features and others have additional features and benefits. Most of them have a referral system which is a nice thing to add additional traffic to your website or blog. I’ve used ClickThru for years and they have done a recent redesign to add in many auctions, prizes and sales. I’ve tried LinkReferral and they setup a remarks and rating system on their site for visitors to use. I just started trying Links2Blogs and can't say much yet on this one. The best one I used for blog specific appears to be BlogExplosion, so far. I do find the blogosphere community to be very versatile, active and interesting.

BlogExplosion has its commercialism involved but I don’t find it overwhelming as I do at many of the traffic exchanges. At BE I find a lot of interesting blogs, with lots to say on every subject not just get rich quick or marketing schemes, which is a breath of fresh air. Many of the traffic exchanges get overwhelmed with that type marketing and that can make them boring or less fun to use for me.
The massive corporate wave of crime, fraud and abuse rolls on, is undeterred by regular exposes in the business media itself. My favorite corporate crime journal (aka the Wall Street Journal) is a daily newspaper that never runs out of material.Daily Journal headlines recently alerted readers to: (1) “Lucent Faces Bribery Allegations,” (2) “Companies Sue Union Retirees to Cut Promised Health Benefits,” (3) “How Drug’s Rebirth as Treatment for Cancer Fueled Price Rises,” reporting one capsule for $29 compared to a price of seven cents in Brazil, (4) “A Retired Maid’s Questions About her ATM Card Led Lawyer to Georgia Scandal,” (5) “At Cigna, Some Patients Found Conflict of Interest in System,” (6) “As Corporate Fines Grow, SEC Debates How Much Good They do.” (7) From the Associated Press – “Calif. Insurance Chief Sues Four Insurance Giants in Kickback Probe.” Also in the headlines are the pharmaceutical companies led by Merck’s deadly fiasco with Vioxx.
"Second, strengthening the rights of 42 million non-unionized workers who wish to join a trade union and advocating for a wage all full-time workers can live on at a time when 47 million American workers one in three full-time workers earned between $5.15 and $10 an hour."
One third of full time workers only making the above wages. That tells me that doesn't include part time, temp, contract and obviously workers making less then that. Yes, there are workers making less then that such as certain farm workers and other exceptions made by the state and federal regulations. That is really staggering, scary and sad numbers for that type of pay in my opinion. Mr. Zeese wrote an interesting article there.
Don't we all see lot's of jobs from this type planning...I would think this strategy has already proven what it can do in the last four years.
